German Worship Service & Dinner

Join us for a special German worship service celebrating our congregation’s history and heritage. This service will closely reflect what worship was like before English was introduced to our congregation, which worshipped entirely in German for many years.

Helpful translations will be provided so everyone can follow along, and the choir will lead the congregation in the hymns and liturgy. The Rev. Charles Schaum of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Muscle Shoals will return to preach in German.

Following the service, several church committees will host a special dinner. We hope you’ll join us for this unique opportunity to experience our history and celebrate our German heritage!
