The Adult Choir at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church exists first and foremost to serve and support the congregation in the Divine Service. Our choir is not a performance ensemble separate from worship; rather, we sing as part of the congregation’s worship, helping to give voice to the Word of God and strengthen the congregation’s singing.
The choir sings SATB choral motets and supports the congregation in singing the hymns and liturgy. We sing in both the 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Divine Services about once each month. Through this service, we seek to enrich the worship of the whole congregation while keeping the congregation’s own singing at the heart of our musical life together.
Choral singing has been a part of the Church’s worship for centuries, and we are thankful to continue this longstanding tradition at St. Paul’s. Our music is offered not for its own sake, but in service to the Church and her worship.

The Adult Choir rehearses every Sunday immediately following the 10:30 a.m. Divine Service, beginning around 11:45 a.m. in the church sanctuary. All who desire to serve the congregation through singing are welcome to join us.
